Summary: Effective development about empowerment. To create true, sustainable social impact , Community Enterprise Solutions works tirelessly to empower those whom we serve. We provide the knowledge, skills, and tools so that people can have the means to create better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities. 

Sustainable Empowerment: this is the number of local,  sustainable organizations that CE Solutions has co created in Guatemala with our constituents. This includes Solucionces Comunitarias, The Centro Explorativo and Turismo Ixil.

Social Innovation: The MicroConsignment Model (MCM), Community Education, Community Tourism

Empowerment

Community Empowerment: this is the number of communities in which access to life-changing technologies, products and solutions has been created for the first time through visits by MCM entrepreneurs. Thousands of people have been afforded a first-time opportunity to obtain solutions which solve  1,000’s year old healthcare, economic, energy and environmental problems.

Entrepreneur Empowerment: this is the number of entrepreneurs in Guatemala, Ecuador, Nicaragua and South Africa in 2011 who have been empowered to generate an income for their families while serving their communities.

Local Empowerment: this is the number of local individuals in Nebaj in the western highlands of Guatemala who have earned a direct income from the work of Turismo Ixil and the Centro Explorativo in 2011.

Social Innovations: Community Education, Community Tourism

Local Student Empowerment: this is the number of students who have been empowered to learn skills to improve their communities through participation in the Centro Explorativo’s 2011 Community Impact Club.

International Student Empowerment: this is the number of university students and recent graduates who have been empowered to create impact in the developing world through our sister organization Social Entrepreneur Corps.
