Emissions Savings: one improved cook stove saves 7.5 metric tons in carbon emissions over the course of its life. Improved cook stove sales by our MCM entrepreneurs have saved over 15,970 metric tons in carbon emissions – the equivalent of 78.9 railcars filled with coal. Emissions Savings:17 compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) reduce carbon emissions at a rate equivalent to taking one car off the road.
